Hello WHCA Families!
We have an exciting September ahead at White Horse Christian Academy! Several special events are coming up, and we would love to have our WHCA families involved.
As our school continues to grow, these events are only possible with the help and support of our parents, grandparents, and school community. Whether you can help organize an event, work a shift, donate an item, help with setup or cleanup, or simply give a little of your time, we need you!
SEPTEMBER EVENTS
Grandparents Day — September 10
We are excited to welcome our WHCA grandparents to campus for a special Grandparents Day celebration!
We would like to provide pizza for our students and their grandparents and are looking for Pizza Sponsors to help cover the cost of lunch.
We will also have a special photo backdrop where students can take pictures with their grandparents and make a fun memory together.
Cowboy Capital of the World RANCH RODEO — September 17, 18 & 19
WHCA will be operating a concession stand each night of the Ranch Rodeo. This is a great fundraising opportunity for our school, but we will need plenty of help!
We need:
● Event Organizer
● Co-Organizer
● Concession Stand Workers for each night
● Families to donate concession stand food and drink items
PRCA Parade — Saturday, September 26 at 10:00 a.m.
WHCA will participate in the Cowboy Capital PRCA Parade!
All students and participants riding on the WHCA float need to be at the float by 9:15 a.m.
We will have a separate sign-up for students/participants who would like to ride.
WHCA Special Wrangler Rodeo — Saturday, September 26 at 11:30 a.m. Cowboy Church Arena
This is one of our very special WHCA events! Our school hosts a fun rodeo experience for individuals with special needs, and we would love for our WHCA families to help us make this a wonderful day for our participants.
We need:

● Take-Down/Cleanup Crew
Join a WHCA Committee
We are also looking for parents who would like to become more involved throughout the school year by serving on one of our committees:
Fundraiser Committee
Help plan, organize, and execute fundraising initiatives for WHCA throughout the year. This Committee will also be over the big Capital Campaign Event.
Foundation Committee
Support the continued growth and long-term mission of White Horse Christian Academy through our Foundation's efforts.
You do not have to be able to help with everything to get involved! Many hands make light work, and even helping with one event or one shift makes a difference.
Please look over the volunteer sign-up opportunities and find a place where you can jump in. We appreciate our WHCA families and everything you do to help make these opportunities possible for our students!

This annual giving program helps bridge the gap between tuition paid by families and the cost of providing our students a White Horse education.

Treasure A Teacher Fund
In appreciation for our White Horse teachers, the Treasure a Teacher Fund provides financial resources to our teachers and annual contract signing bonuses.
Capital Campaign
White Horse Christian Academy is in the process of updating the master plans for its 10 acre campus. Our students and teachers have done amazing work in small, temporary facilities, but we have outgrown our current space. We are redeveloping it to give our community a wonderful new home and serve as an anchor for White Horse families for years to come.

White Horse accepts all major credit cards. To make a gift via credit card, please complete the adjacent form or speak with the Stephenville Campus office.
Other Assets
In addition to the many ways to give outlined in this section, White Horse Christian Academy accepts donations in the form of other assets. These can include gifts of closely held stock, mutual fund shares, tangible personal property related to White Horse educational purpose, and real estate.
